I found myself almost reluctantly trying out all of the best things to do in Los Cabos during my time living in Mexico City as a digital nomad.
I had fallen for that annoying and strange affliction that expats sometimes find themselves suffering when they live in a country and claim to love it so much that they become snobby towards touristic cities within their newly adopted country!
Noticing how utterly silly and close-minded I had become, I closed my laptop for the week, decided to get a grip and set off to Baja California to try out all of the best Los Cabos activities before heading back to the capital to tell me naysaying British expat friends!

I (sadly) no longer dabble with eating fish, so if you’re also plant-based but still want to try out the local flavours with a veggie/vegan twist then I recommend the restaurants La Rana Vegana and Tropical Kitchen Cabo.

Whether you’re looking to clumsily attempt to dance as well as the locals, enjoy live music, or simply sip a cocktail while taking in the ocean views, Los Cabos has you covered.
Many of the nightclubs and bars are concentrated around the marina and downtown area of Cabo San Lucas, making it easy to hop from one venue to another. The atmosphere is typically friendly and inclusive, with locals and tourists mingling and enjoying the festive environment.
